| What to Expect |
|
At FBC Weslaco, you will see people from all over the United States, Canada and Mexico – and several other foreign countries as well. You will worship with Black, Anglo and Latino members and guests. You will find these people come from a variety of faith backgrounds from Catholic to Pentecostal to Baptist. And we like it that way.
We’re relaxed. Come in jeans or khakis; or if you prefer, come in a suit or dress. You’ll find a variety of styles in our church.

| Our History |
|
The City of Weslaco was founded in 1919. FBC Weslaco was chartered about 18 months later during a community revival. Since then, it has been the largest and most active protestant congregation in the city exerting Christian leadership throughout our region.
Presently, we are a body of about 300 families with a year-round attendance of about 550 persons. Our growth rate has averaged about six percent per year over the past decade.
